The first sport I learned in my life was swimming.

My mother sent me to swimming lessons when I was very little.

 I become quite good at it and even participated in some swimming competitions for kids.

When I was in middle and high school, I mostly played soccer and basketball with my classmates.

 I also learned how to play volleyball and badminton during gym class.

In college, I remember taking a semester of bowling just for fun. As for winter sports, I learned how to snowboard several years ago. One of my friends worked as an instructor at a ski resort, so he gave me some lessons.

I have become quite good and now I can board on slopes for advanced skiers.

As for water sports, I picked up wakeboarding last summer when I went to a lakeside resort near Cheongpyeong.

Wakeboarding wasn’t that difficult as I already knew how to snowboard.
