느낌동사 was able to

현재일 경우 be able to = Can 이랑 같다 그러나 과거의 경우

 

1. could : 과거의 능력

be(was/were) able to : 과거에 실제로 했었어~ 는 다르다

2. will과 can은 같이 쓸 수 없으므로 I will be able to ~ 등으로 사용한다.

 

We were able to book a room : 우리는 방을 예약할 수 있었어!n

I was able to visit him
